In its Weekly Report On Israeli Human Rights Violations in the Occupied Palestinian Territories for the week of 12- 18 September 2013, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) found that Israeli forces continued systematic attacks against Palestinian civilians and property in the occupied Palestinian territories. Israeli forces killed a Palestinian civilian and wounded 4 others, including 3 children, in Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank. read full story / add a comment
A report released Thursday [September 12, 2013] by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the economic situation in the West Bank and Gaza says that worrying trends have continued despite the optimism of renewed peace negotiations. read full story / add a comment
The Census Department of the Palestinian Ministry of Detainees issued a report on Palestinian political prisoners held by Israel, revealing that Israeli soldiers kidnapped 2436 Palestinians since the beginning of this year, and that the number of detainees currently held by Israel is 5200. read full story / add a comment

Palestinian Minister of Detainees, Issa Qaraqe’, stated that the second phase of releasing political prisoners, held by Israel since before the first Oslo Agreement of 1993, will be conducted on November 29, then a third phase on December 29, and the fourth on March 28 2014. 26 detainees were released last month. read full story / add a comment
