Lawyer of the ad-Dameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, Samer Samaan, was granted access to the ailing hunger-striking detainee, Khader Adnan, who has been on hunger strike for 51 days, despite the sharp deterioration in his health condition. In its Weekly Report On Israeli Human Rights Violations in the Occupied Palestinian Territories for the week of 26 Jan. – 01 Feb. 2012, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights found that a Palestinian civilian was wounded by Israeli forces in Gaza City. After interrogating him at a Police station in occupied Jerusalem, on Tuesday, the Israeli Police issued an order forcing Palestinian activist and intellectual, Rasem Obeidat, to remain in his residential area in Jerusalem for seven months. He will not be allowed out of Jerusalem, and will only be allowed into certain areas in the city. Full Story

In its Weekly Report On Israeli Human Rights Violations in the Occupied Palestinian Territories for the week of 19- 25 January 2012, A Palestinian civilian died out of his wounds in Khan Yunis, north of the Gaza Strip. He was wounded in the beginning of al-Aqsa Intifada. In addition, Israeli warplanes fired 9 missiles at a Palestinian resistance group and civilian targets, but no injuries were reported. Two camels died and a greenhouse was destroyed. Full Story

The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) strongly condemns arresting a Palestinian patient from the Gaza Strip by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) at Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing.
