Late on Tuesday night, a group of Israeli settlers attempted to burn down the now disused mosque of Akasha Bin Mohsin. They were unable to obtain entry, and so proceeded to torch the exterior, and spray-painted graffiti including ‘Mohammed is a pig’ on the blackened walls. Full Story

During his participation in an official ceremony to light the Christmas tree in the central West Bank city of Ramallah, Palestinian Prime Minister, Dr. Salaam Fayyad, stated that raising the Palestinian flag at the UNESCO headquarters is an important step.
