Medical sources say that Hala Ahmad Al-Boheiry, 3, was killed by an Israeli missile in central Gaza, and four were wounded in the shelling, one of them in a critical condition.
The sources added that Halaís mother, her brothers Bilal, 3, and Mohammad, 6, were injured when the army bombarded a house near a chicken farm, east of al-Maghazy refugee camp, in central Gaza.
Furthermore, a young man was also killed when the Israeli Air Force fired missiles into Beit Lahia town, in northern Gaza. Another Palestinian was moderately wounded in the attack, the Palestine News Network (PNN) has reported.
Dr. Ahmad al-Boheiry, spokesperson of the Ministry Of Health In Gaza, has reported that an 18-year-old young man was shot in the leg and moved to a local hospital.
Meanwhile, the Hamas-led government in Gaza vacated its entire headquarters, fearing a possible Israeli military escalation against the coastal region.
Hamas said it would resist, by all means, any Israeli escalation on the besieged Gaza Strip. Several armed groups also said that their fighters would counter any Israeli military aggression and escalation.
Israel stated that its attack against Gaza came after Palestinian fighters killed an Israeli military engineer, 50 years old, near the Nahal Oz military base, across the border fence east of Gaza City.
He and other soldiers were fixing a segment of the Israeli fence encircling the border between Gaza and Israelís nearby settlements.
Furthermore, several Israeli military vehicles invaded, on Tuesday, at noon, a Palestinian area close to the Nahal Oz military base and another east of the Shujaeyya area, firing upon open areas; no injuries were reported.
