The WAFA News Agency reported a press release by the Palestine Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) today that hotel occupancy in the Palestinian areas decreased by 16% in the first quarter of this year compared to the previous quarter, and by 13% when compared to first quarter 2011. Full Story

In the UK, the Jewish National Fund and more than 280 "concerned" Jews, including the religious head of the Reform Movement, clashed this week over the charity's invitation to Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman. Lieberman, the Head of the far right Yisrael Beiteinu Party, is due in the UK next week to give a talk to JNF members and meet Foreign Secretary William Hague. Full Story

Haaretz reported today that from the start of the second intifada in September 2000 through December 2011, the human rights group B'Tselem filed 57 complaints over soldiers who allegedly did not stop such violent attacks on Palestinians. Haaretz reported Monday that hundreds of Jewish youths participating in the Jerusalem Day flag procession Sunday shouted anti-Muslim slogans like "Mohammed is dead" at Palestinian protesters gathered at Damascus Gate to protest the holding of the march in Arab neighborhoods. Police separated the protesters from the marchers before the confrontations could escalate. Full Story
