Palestinian Muslims in Gaza say they had hoped to have a quiet holiday of Eid al-Fitr, which begins Monday and goes until Friday. But, the Israeli military began pounding Gaza with bombs as soon as the ‘temporary ceasefire’ was scheduled to end – at noon on Monday. Two of the targets were a playground and a hospital. Full Story

Palestinian Medical Sources have reported that a Palestinian man and child were killed, and several Palestinians were injured, after the army bombarded homes Jabalia. Soldiers also fired missiles into lands and property in different parts of the Gaza Strip, in direct violation of the “ceasefire”. Full Story

The “International Campaign for the Inclusion of Israeli Settler Groups in List of Terrorist Organizations” campaign was launched in London, on Sunday, as the West Bank continues to be consumed by antiwar demonstrations and ensuing confrontations. Israel resumed its assault on the Gaza Strip, Sunday, following a temporary ceasefire over the weekend, during which the Israeli army killed at least 10 Palestinians. Full Story

On Friday, July 25, an Israeli settler murdered a Palestinian teenager in the village of Huwwara, which lies approximately 10 km south of Nablus in the northern half of the West Bank. Two hours later, an Israeli sniper killed another Palestinian teenager in the same village. Full Story
