Israeli soldiers invaded, on Tuesday evening, the West Bank city of Bethlehem, and clashed with scores of local youths, who hurled stones and empty bottles on the invading military vehicles; medical sources said seven Palestinians were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets, and many others suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.The invasion and clashes took place near the northern entrance of Bethlehem, especially near the Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque.

The Red Crescent in Bethlehem said seven Palestinians were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets, mainly in their limbs, and dozens of residents suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Earlier on Tuesday, the soldiers invaded Beit Jala city, northwest of Bethlehem, killed one Palestinian identified as Tareq Ziad Obeid, 20, and wounded several others.

Also on Tuesday, the army killed two Palestinians, identified as Adnan Ayed Hamed al-Halayqa, 17, and Mohammad Ahmad Kawazba, 23, near Beit ‘Anoun village junction, east of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, while a third Palestinian was shot and injured, and many others suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
