An elderly man and his grandson have been injured, Wednesday, after Israeli soldiers assaulted them at the main entrance of Beit Ummar town, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.Mohammad Awad, media coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements, said the soldiers attacked Mohammad Younis Bahar, 77 years of age, after detaining his grandson, Ahmad Mousa Bahar, 17 years of age.

The elderly man was attacked and beaten by the soldiers after he tried to ask them about the reason for abducting his grandson.

The soldiers also attacked the grandson, and sprayed him and his grandfather with pepper spray.

In addition, soldiers attacked several Palestinians, and cars, in front of a gas station on the main road of the town.

Late at night and at dawn, the soldiers invaded Palestinian cities and towns, in different part of the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, and kidnapped 32 Palestinians, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported.
