[Wednesday Evening, June 11, 2014] Israeli soldiers invaded al-Isawiyya town, in occupied East Jerusalem, broke into several homes and stores, violently searched them, and kidnapped five Palestinians.The Maan News Agency has reported that the invasion is the fourth consecutive invasion in the past four days, and that Israeli police officers ticketed several Palestinians at random.

Maan said that the soldiers broke into several homes and stores, and kidnapped Ali Derbas, 38, after beating him in his own home, Mohammad Rajab Obeid, 19, from a restaurant where he works, in addition to Khalil Dary, 44, Yasser Darwish and Mohammad Jebril Darwish; all kidnapped from their homes after the soldiers broke into them.

Eyewitnesses said that the soldiers assaulted several women and children during the invasion, adding that clashes later took place between the soldiers and local youth.

The army fired concussion grenades, gas bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets; no injuries.
