[Tuesday, December 17, 2013] (WAFA) – The Israeli military authority has notified 10 residents of the village of Barta’a al-Sharqiyeh, south of Jenin, of its intention to demolish their homes, under the pretext that they were built without permission, according to a local official.Head of the village council, Tawfiq Kabaha, told WAFA that Israeli forces, along with staff from the military government’s planning department, has served 10 residents notices for the demolition of their homes, some of which are still under construction.
Others are already inhabited.
