Israeli soldiers invaded late on Sunday at night the town of the Al-Ezariyya, in occupied East Jerusalem, broke into and searched dozens of homes and kidnapped nine Palestinians.Local sources have reported that the army invaded the town, and violently searched dozens of homes before kidnapping nine youths.

The kidnapped youths have been identified as Yousef Walid Abu Roomy, Odai Nabil Odwan, Mohammad Raja Al-Mikhil, Mohammad Khalaf, Ayman Amr Jabr, Mahmoud Ahmad Al-Mikhil, Tareq Al-‘Ammoury, Wajdy Al-‘Ammoury, and Nour Daoud Faroun.

The soldiers also broke into the home of Sami Abu Ghalya in an attempt to kidnap him but he was not there.

On Sunday evening, the army kidnapped a young Palestinian man identified as Ahmad Erekat, from Abu Dis town, in occupied East Jerusalem, as he was crossing back into the country after a visit to Jordan.

On Monday at dawn, dozens of soldiers invaded the town of Beit Ummar town, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and kidnapped one resident.

Clashes took place between the invading soldiers and local youths who hurled stones and empty bottles at them; two Palestinians were shot and injured by army fire.
