Israeli bulldozers levels historical houses in old city Jerusalem and troops arrest five civilians during dawn invasions targeting the West Bank. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

One Palestinian Shepherd was injured by Israeli settlers near the village of Amateen village, northern west Bank on Wednesday.

The man was herding his sheep when ten armed Israeli settlers from a nearby illegal settlement attacked him and tried to steal his sheep, residents reported. The man was moved to a local hospital in the nearby by city of Qalqilia after sustaining moderate wounds, medical sources reported.

In other news, Israeli soldiers invaded, on Tuesday at night, Yatta town, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, broke into several homes and searched them.

The sources added that the army also fired several flares in the areas, and installed a roadblock on the road that lead to the nearby village of Al-Karmel.
In related news, the soldiers kidnapped, on Wednesday at dawn, five Palestinians in Silwan town, in occupied East Jerusalem and kidnapped.

Staying in Jerusalem, Israeli municipality bulldozers continued today to demolish historical houses near the western wall in Jerusalem old city. The bulldozers started working on Tuesday, local sources reported. The sources added that the houses being bulldozed date back to the Islamic era of the city.

The Israeli municipality plans to build instead of those houses a police station and a reception area for Jewish worshipers only.

In other news, Israeli TV, Channel 10, reported that U.S. President, Barack Obama, intends to visit Tel Aviv and Ramallah in mid March after Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, forms his new government.

Channel 10 said that Obama will also visit Jordan to hold a meeting with King Abdullah, as part of his planned meetings with Netanyahu and Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, in an attempt “to revive the stalled peace process between Israel and the Palestinians”.

American diplomatic sources reported that Obama phoned Netanyahu on January 28th, and told him that he will be presenting several offers to ensure the resumption of peace talks.
