Palestinian medical sources reported that three Palestinians, including a child, have been injured after a number of extremist Israeli settlers invaded Jaloud village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.The sources said that the settlers hurled stones at two Palestinian cars causing excessive damage, and hurled stones and empty bottles at four homes; one child identified as Farah Naseem Abbad, 2, his father Naseem and his uncle Na’im were injured. The attacked homes are located in the eastern area of the village.

Ghassan Daghlas, in charge of the settlements file at the Palestinian Authority in the northern part of the West Bank, stated that the child was injured in the head.

Daghlas added that the settlers attacked four homes in the village, and at least one vehicle, and that all wounded residents were moved to a local hospital suffering mild-to-moderate injuries.

On Wednesday morning, the settlers carried out several attacks targeted farmers in Jaloud, and invaded several Palestinian orchards.

The settlers tried to prevent local villages from entering their lands to plow them, despite the fact that the residents obtained permits from the Israeli District Coordination Office allowing them to enter their lands that became isolated behind the Annexation Wall.
