Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Monday at dawn, a Palestinian university student from the village of Ya’bod, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin; the soldiers broke into and searched several homes in the village.

Local sources reported that the army invaded the Eastern area of the village, broke into and searched several homes causing property damage, and kidnapped Ya’ish Mohammad Qabha, 22, a student of the Arab American University in Jenin.

The soldiers first interrogated Qabha in the street before cuffing and blindfolding him, and took him to an unknown destination.

Furthermore, the soldiers invaded, shortly after midnight last night, the nearby towns of Faqqou’a, Dir Da’if and Beit Qaad, and fired flares before breaking into and searching dozens of homes.
