Resident Seriously Injured By Israeli Shell In Central Gaza

Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported Friday that one resident was seriously injured by a shell fired by the Israeli army into the Juhr ed-Deek area, in central Gaza.

The sources stated that the soldiers, stationed on the border with Gaza, fired several shells into the area, and that the wounded resident was moved to the l-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

In related news, soldiers invaded on Thursday evening, several areas in Yatta town, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and searched dozens of homes and Bedouin tents.

Rateb Jbour, Coordinator of the Popular Committee Against the Annexation Wall and Settlements, stated that the soldiers invaded the areas of Jinba, al-Fakheet, at-Tabban, al-Markiz, and ar-Rakeez, and forced the residents out of their homes and tents before searching property and causing extensive damage.

The army also threatened to remove solar panels that provide the invaded areas with electricity, and also threatened to demolish the al-Mosafer Elementary School for Boy and Girls.

On Thursday at dawn, Israeli soldiers kidnapped eleven Palestinian civilians during invasions targeting different parts of the occupied West Bank.

The army invaded the West Bank Districts of Hebron, Bethlehem, Tulkarem and Ramallah, broke into and searched several homes and kidnapped the eleven residents. The army also desecrated a mosque in Ithna town, near Hebron.
