Zahhar Denies Connection To Facebook Page That Carries His Name

Member of the Political Bureau of the Hamas movement, Dr. Mahmoud Zahhar, denied any relation to a Facebook page that carries his name and places statements allegedly made by him.

Dr. Zahhar issued a press release that was distributed by the Media Office of the Hamas movement in Gaza, stating that the Facebook page that carries his name “does not represent Zahhar, and does not represent his stances”.

The statement was issued after a Facebook page that claims to be the personally page of Dr. Zahhar, published statements allegedly made by Zahhar in which he “strongly denounced the Egyptian Authorities for partially opening the Rafah Border Terminal to the Palestinians, while the Taba Terminal if fully opened to Israelis”.
