Israel Returns Body of Slain Palestinian

The body of 22-year-old Jihad Abu Shaluf, a Palestinian killed by Israel at the Gazan border was returned on Wednesday, two weeks after his death, according to Ma’an News.

Israeli soldiers opened fire on a group of four workers trying to enter Israel by travelling through Egypt. Of the three workers with Abu Shaluf, one was shot and killed immediately, while the two others were arrested.

Following the incident, Israeli military officials said that all four men were unarmed.
