The Palestine News Network (PNN) reported on Wednesday morning that Israeli soldiers invaded Beit Jala city, near the West Bank city of Bethlehem, and fired gas bombs at students who protested the invasion.
Eyewitnesses reported that several military vehicles invaded the city from the western entrance near the military liaison base, and went to the center of the city to photograph the Church of Virgin Mary; It remains unknown why did the army photograph the church.

The soldiers then went to the As-Sahel area, where the Iskander Al-Khoury School is located; clashes took place between the students and the soldiers while the army fired dozens of gas bombs at them.
