Medical sources announced that Hashim Saaed, 17, died after he was injured by the shell sometime during the night, and bled out until he died Wednesday morning.

On Tuesday night Israeli tanks stationed at the border bombarded al Shouja’ya neighborhood in Gaza city. At the time of the shelling, no one could reach the area to make sure no civilians were injured, local sources in Gaza reported.

The killing of Saaed echoes a similar attack on Saturday night which resulted in the death of Bilal Yousef al-Saayed, whose body was taken by the Israeli military and returned to the family on Tuesday.

Neither Hashim Saaed nor Bilal Yousef al-Saayed were associated with any Palestinian resistance group.
