Cameraman Sentenced To 18 Months, 1300 USDThe Ofer Israeli Military Court sentenced on Thursday Palestinian cameraman, from Bil’in village near the central West Bank city of Ramallah, to eighteen months imprisonment and 1300 USD fine. The Friends of Freedom and Justice Committee in Bil'in, near the central West Bank city of Ramallah, reported that cameraman Hamza Suleiman Burnat, 19, was kidnapped by the army four months ago when he was photographing a nonviolent protest against the Wall and Settlements in Nabi Saleh village. |
