The Israeli Army kidnapped a 25-year-old Palestinian resident, on Tuesday morning, en-route to Nablus, in the northern part of the West Bank, after having searched him, the Ma’an News Agency reported. Soldiers installs several roadblocks around the Nablus district.Dr. Abdul-Rahim Abu Redeya, the uncle of the kidnapped youth, from Qusra village, stated that Israeli soldiers detained Ayyoub Mustafa Abu Redeya, age 25, near the village of Huwwarah.

Redeya was taken prisoner after being searched at a random Israeli military roadblock.

Israeli soldiers also set up a roadblock at the entrance of Beita village, south of Nablus city, and searched all vehicles en-route out of the village.

Moreover, an Israeli roadblock was set at the entrance of Yitzhar settlement road, near Nablus, and another roadblock was installed at the eastern entrance of Nablus city; soldiers searched dozens of vehicles, and interrogated the residents, eyewitnesses told the Maan News Agency.

The Israeli escalation comes after a group of extremist Israeli settlers uprooted, Monday, at least thirty olive trees that belong to Palestinian residents of Madama village, south of Nablus.
