The Israeli army has demolished a 120 square-meter house and uprooted many trees in the village of ‘Anata, in the northeastern part of East Jerusalem on Tuesday, the Palestine News & Info Agency reported.A large Israeli military force invaded the village from its northern entrance and imposed a strict closure upon it. Later on, military jeeps and bulldozers arrived at the scene to demolish the house and uproot the fruitful trees.

Army personnel claimed that the house was built without a construction permit on land that is under the Israeli jurisdiction.

Clashes were reported between residents of ‘Anata and the army.
