Israeli security sources revealed Friday that the Egyptian security forces released four Israeli security men and a crew of an Israeli yacht, who were arrested in the Straits of Tiran last Wednesday. A gag order was issued by Israeli on the issue, and was removed on Friday.On Wednesday at noon, the Egyptian Navy ordered the yacht to stop in order to be inspected, and then the guards on the yacht threw their weapons in the water in order not to be found by the navy.

Egyptian Navy personnel noticed the attempts to dump the weapons, and arrested all persons onboard.

They were all released Friday and sailed back to Eilat after undergoing interrogation in Sharm Al Sheikh in Egypt.

The ship belongs to Shimon Meshiah, a businessman from Eilat called who organizes tours in the Red Sea.
