author Wednesday May 18, 2011 15:56author by Kevin Murphy - IMEMC and Agencies Report post

The Israeli military carried out incursions into the West Bank Tuesday and arrested 11 as part of the crackdown in the aftermath of Nakba commemorations held throughout Palestine and bordering states on Sunday.

Six Palestinians were abducted in raids on the al-Khadir village after Molotov cocktails were allegedly thrown at a checkpoint tower in the locality.

In Hebron, local radio producer Ra’ed Sharief was arrested along with two minors. Sharief spent six months in Israeli detention last year.

Israeli forces frequently conduct early-morning raids in the West Bank, abducting Palestinians from their homes and attacking any people who come outside to confront the invading troops.
