His statements came during a graduation ceremony for security personnel in Gaza, organized by the Ministry of Interior.

Haniyya said that the security devices are based on protecting the resistance against the occupation, and on ensuring the rights of the people.

He added that the reconstruction of all security forces in the coming phase will be based on security partnership in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

“Our security forces in Gaza managed to provide security and stability for the people”, the Hamas leader said, “The security forces never interfered in personal issues, never controlled public money, and performed their duties based on respect for the people”.

“The Palestinians, God willing, will soon celebrate their state, and their security officers in the liberated Jerusalem, the capital of Palestine”, Haniyya said.

He further stated that several international reports admitted that the security forces in Gaza, run by the Hamas movement, showed high capabilities and professional standards.

“In Gaza, we have a strong and stable security establishment”, Haniyya said, “We will not allow insecurity and chaos back”.
