Israeli Military Demolishes a Water Well and a Farm In Bethlehem

author Tuesday April 12, 2011 01:47author by George Rishmawi - IMEMC & Agencies Report post

Israeli military forces demolished a water well designed to collect rain water and an agricultural structure in al-Khader village southwest of Bethlehem on Monday.

The well and the building belong to Mohammad Dar Issa and his brothers. The well can collect some 90 cubic meter of water, and the building was 225 squared meter in area.

The Ma'an News Agency said that the bulldozer put the rubble of the building in the well in order to completely destroy it.

This demolition will severely affect Issa's work and will cause them a financial set back. The Israeli military gave no official warrant. Issa found some papers in Hebrew only near his farm, which turned later to be a demolition order.
