Soldiers and Israeli policemen broke into the center without any official documents or court order, and searched it.

While the army was searching the center allegedly trying to locate its director, Siyam was at an Israeli court that was deliberating his case.

On March 14, the Israeli Magistrates Court extended the house arrest of Siyam, but allowed him to work at the Center for specific hours of the day, the Wadi Hilweh Information Center reported.

The Center said that Siyam was arrested on trumped up charges of assault in January while some Israeli parties tried to bring falsified evidence against him in an attempt to imprison him or even banish him out of Silwan.

Part of an illegal policy, Israel repeatedly revoke Jerusalem ID Card of several Palestinian political leaders from East Jerusalem, and ordered them out of their city.
