In Jericho, a Palestinian man was wounded by Israeli fire on Friday morning, after throwing stones at an Israeli soldier near the settlement of Tomer in the Jordan Valley. The soldier’s wounds to his head were described as serious.Sources in the Palestinian Red Crescent stated that the injured man suffered several gunshot wounds to his leg in the Jordan Valley area near the border with Jordan, on Friday morning, and his condition is serious.

Fathi Khaddirat, the Campaign Coordinator of ‘Save the Jordan Valley’, said that Karam Sulaiman Issa, 34 years old from Balata refugee camp east of Nablus, was walking on the side of the road near the settlement and soldiers shot him after Issa threw stones at a soldier.

Both men were transferred to Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital.
