Settlers Attack A Cab Driver Near Salfit

author Saturday March 19, 2011 00:39author by Saed Bannoura - IMEMC & Agencies Report post

A group of Israeli settlers attacked on Friday a Palestinian Cab driver at the Za’tara junction east of the central West Bank city of Salfit.

The driver, Fathallah Bozeah, 45, was heading to Nablus when the settlers hurled stones at his can smashing its windshield and causing damage to the body of the vehicle, the Maan News Agency reported.

Bozeah, from Kafil Hares, said that the settlers were cursing at him and throwing stones at his taxi while soldiers, stationed at the junction, did not even attempt to intervene.

He added that once he headed to the soldiers to complain about the attack, they told him that he needed to leave the area immediately.
