Israeli Youths Kill a Palestinian Man in Jerusalem; Soldiers Arrests Three in Separate Incident

A Palestinian man was stabbed to death by a group of Israeli youths on Friday afternoon near Jerusalem's Old City.

According to an Israeli police report, the 24-year-old man Kafr Akab village near Jerusalem, died from wounds he sustained when a fight broke out between Palestinian and Israeli youths near the city center. Two other people were reportedly injured.

The police said that two people were arrested in connection to the incident but that their names were not released.

Earlier in the day, Israeli troops were deployed in and around Jerusalem’s Old City and the movements of Palestinian residents were restricted, local sources reported.

Meanwhile, Palestinian sources said that Israeli soldiers searched and ransacked homes in East Jerusalem and arrested three men on Friday morning.
