Palestinian medical sources reported Sunday that two workers were shot and wounded by Israeli army fire south of Hebron city, in the southern part of the West Bank. The sources added that soldiers opened fire at the workers in Al Ramadeen area where they worked.

The two were identified as Husam Mohammad Al Qammary, 25, and Akram Jamil Samamra, 28.; Al Qammary was shot in his foot while Samamra was shot in the abdomen area.

They were both moved to a hospital in Al Thahiriyya town, near Hebron; there injuries were described as moderate.
