The accident took place when a bus crushed into two vehicles, Israeli daily Haaretz, reported. The incident took place near to the city of Madaba.

Haaretz added that it remains unclear whether the Israeli tourists were in the bus or the private vehicles.

Israeli medical emergency services, Magen David Adom, told Israel’s Channel 10 TV that two of the wounded are in serious conditions, and that all casualties were moved to Jordanian hospitals.

Israel is planning to transfer all wounded Israelis back to the country to be treated on Israeli hospitals.
