Palestinian medical sources reported, Monday evening, that a child was shot by rubber-coated bullets in his leg and a gas bomb in his face during clashes between Palestinian youths, Israeli soldiers and settlers in Silwan town, in occupied East Jerusalem.The Ma’an News Agency reported that undercover forces of the Israeli army and Israeli soldiers invaded the Yacoub area in Silwan and clashed with dozens of youths.

Soldiers fired rounds of live ammunition, gas bombs and rubber coated bullets.

Medical sources in Jerusalem reported that Suleiman Siyam, 12, was moved to a local clinic after being hit by a rubber-coated bullet in his leg and a gas bomb in his face.

Several other residents suffered ill effects after inhaling gas fired by the army, and required medical attention.

Furthermore, undercover units of the Israeli army broke into several Palestinian homes in Silwan, and kidnapped four 12-year-old children.

The army claims the four children hurled stones at the invading soldiers.
