Israeli daily Yedioth Aharonoth, reported Thursday, that Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is demanding that U.S. President, Barak Obama, reinstate the guaranties granted by former president, George Bush to the former Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon.The sources reported that these guaranties were mentioned in a letter from Bush to Sharon on April 14 2004.

Bush said that Washington would support the idea of annexing large settlement blocks into Israel when the borders of a Palestinian state are drawn .He also asserted that he was against the return of the refugees to Palestine.

The sources added that Netanyahu’s demand is strongly accepted by senior officials in the American administration. However, Washington also wants to give the Palestinians some guaranties
