Israeli authorities ordered the Karem Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) border crossing between Israel and the Gaza Strip to open, but kept Al-Mentar (Karni) crossing closed for the entry of goods.Ra’ed Fattouh, head of committee in charge of the entry of goods to the Gaza Strip, stated that approximately 90 trucks of aid supplies and goods were slated to enter through al-Mentar terminal, in addition to pumping small amounts of diesel and cooking gas to the power plant’s stations.

On Tuesday, the military crossing of Karem Abu Salem was opened from 8:00 till 15:00, a period that was enough to enter 221 trucks loaded with supplies to the Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, 179,830 kilograms of cooking gas and 518954 litters of diesel were also allowed into Gaza.
