The settlers came from the Ihya illegal settlement outpost and torched farmlands in Khallet Abu Shreka, near Jalud village and left the scene later on.

The attack is one of numerous attacks carried out by the settlers who seek to expand their outpost and to construct new illegal outposts on Palestinian lands.

The recent attack was followed by an Israeli military invasion to the village as the soldiers also fired tear gas canisters at the local residents.
