Fateh, Hamas Leaders To Meet In Gaza Saturday

Member of the Central Committee of Fateh Movement, Sakher Bseiso, stated that leaders of Fateh and Hamas movements will be holding a meeting in Gaza on Saturday in an attempt to end the internal division and achieve reconciliation.

Bseiso told “Maan” reporter in Gaza that the leadership of the two movements agreed to meet and hold reconciliation talks.

He said that the issue here in not about signing a deal or the Egyptian document for internal Palestinian reconciliation, adding that such talks and efforts should be based on trust and sincere intentions.

Bseiso further stated that no faction can ignore the presence of another faction, and that all political factions but act in a clear vision and agenda for reconciliation and unity.

Prime Minister of the dissolved Hamas government in Gaza, Ismail Haniyya, called on Fateh delegates to hold meetings with Hamas leaders in Gaza to discuss unity talks.
