Mohammad Awad, spokesperson of the Palestine Solidarity Project, stated that the soldiers violently attacked protestors and journalists during the protest that was held near Karmie Tzur, and fired gas bombs and concussion grenades.

One reporter, identified as Najih al-Hashlamoun, suffered after inhaling gas and received treatment by medics on the scene.

Awad added that the protestors carried Palestinian and Turkish flags, and blew horns.

This is the first time protestors use horns in nonviolent protests against the annexation wall and settlements in the area.
