Hezbollah Member Killed in Pakistan

A Senior member of the Lebanon-based Hezbollah party was killed Monday by a missile fired by an American drone in Pakistan. Sixteen people were killed in the attack, and dozens more were wounded.

The Earth Times reported that Mohammad Ali Hammadi, a Hezbollah member from Lebanon, was among the dead.

Hammadi spent 16 years in a German prison for his participation in the hijacking of a U.S. plane 25 years ago before being paroled in 2005.

The Earth Times reported that Hammadi came to North Waziristan district in Pakistan in March 2010, and went to an area where cross-border attacks are carried out against international forces in Afghanistan.
