The clashes took place when the police and the undercover forces attempted to kidnap a number of residents.

Local sources reported that clashes took place around the protest tent in Al Bustan neighborhood while the police used live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets and gas bombs.

One resident was wounded after being rammed by a police vehicle in the neighborhood. Most of the wounded received medical treatment in local clinics.

The situation remains on the edge as the resident fear further attacks by the police.
