Egyptian security sources reported Sunday that two African immigrants were shot and killed by Egyptian Border Police fire while trying to infiltrate into Israel seeking work.The first, a 35-year-old man from Eritrea, was killed near border makers number 13, south of the Rafah Border Terminal, while the second was killed in an area close to marker 13.
Their bodies were moved to a hospital in the Egyptian Rafah city.
It is worth mentioning that the Egyptian Border Police also arrested six persons trying to infiltrate into Israel.
With the killing of the two men, the number of Africans killed by the Egyptian Border Police since the beginning of this year arrived to eight.
