Gaza-based PLC appeals for halting 'Israeli aggression' on Gaza

The Gaza-based Palestinian Legislative Council appealed on Monday to all concerned international bodies to end the continued Israeli aggression on Gaza.

In a statement, issued Monday by the PLC presidency, all worldwide parliaments, including Arab and Islamic ones, are urged to take a firm stance against the Israeli killing of Palestinian women and children. The PLC also voiced appreciation for all Arab and Islamic nations and other free nations overseas for their continued protests in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Dr. Ahmad Bahar of Hamas, deputy-head of the PLC, was quoted as saying that the Council fully supports resistance against the Israeli aggression, with all possible means, including armed resistance. Last week, Israeli warplanes struck the Hamas-dominated PLC building in Gaza, with no causalities reported, but grave damages to the building.

Since December 27th, Israel has been waging an-all-out war against Gaza, killing almost 900 Palestinian men, women and children, and wounding about 4,000 others, according to medics.
