Nablus Fighter Dies From Wounds Suffered In 2002

Palestinian sources reported, Thursday, that a fighter died at hospital in Berlin, Germany from wounds suffered during an attack targeting Alon Moreh settlement near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, in 2002.


Aqsa Brigades

The fighter was identified as Dia’ Mohammad Salawda, 23, member of the al-Aqsa Brigades, the armed wing of Fateh movement.

Dia’ is from al-Dahia area, east of Nablus city.

He was seriously wounded during the attack, and was moved to Berlin for further treatment.

He was initially moved to Hadassah Israeli hospital in Jerusalem, then to Jordan and Saudi Arabia before he was moved to Germany where he died from his wounds.
