Child Wounded By Israeli Fire In Central Gaza

author Monday February 15, 2010 10:56author by Saed Bannoura - IMEMC & Agencies Report post

Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Sunday evening that a Palestinian child suffered moderate wounds after the Israeli army bombarded a number of homes in the Juhr al-Deek area, in central Gaza.

Medical sources identified the child, Yousef al-Atrash, 14. He was at home when the army opened fire at the area.

The border areas are the scene of repeated Israeli shelling and gun fire, with the army preventing residents from approaching any area that is close to the border fence.
