The villagers of Nabi Saleh, along with their international and Israeli supporters, planed to march to the land of the villages taken by the settlers of the nearby illegal settlement of Halmish.

Villagers had olive trees to be planted at the lands. As soon as people started to march, Israeli soldiers fired tear gas at them.

Local youth responded by hurling stones at the soldiers. Troops then fired rubber-coated-steel bullets, injuring three local youths.

After the clashes ended, Israeli troops stormed the village of Nabi Saleh and fired tear gas at villager's homes.

On the other side of the village, undercover soldiers tried to detain local youths. When the men discovered the soldier's intentions, they ran and had live ammunition fired at them by the troops. No injuries were reported.
