Local sources reported that the woman was “lucky enough to faint” as when she fainted and dropped to the ground the settlers thought she was hit by their bullets, and left the scene.

The sources identified the woman as Khadra Al Hathaleen; she was herding her sheep in Um Al Kheir area.

After the shooting, the Israeli police arrived at the scene and transferred the woman to their station in Keryat Arba’ Settlement to take her statement.
In a separate incident, Israeli soldiers kidnapped on Saturday at night a

Palestinian youth at the entrance of Beit Ummar town, near Hebron.
The youth, Ibrahim Ali Ikhlayyil, 18, was driving a car while heading to Beit

Ummar. Soldiers stopped him at a roadblock and searched his vehicle. He was taken prisoner because the soldiers “found a knife” in his car.
