Israeli wounded near Qaliqilia, Palestinians throw stones

An Israeli was slightly wounded late on Sunday night near the West Bank city of Qalqilia, media sources reported.

The sources said that the Israeli was driving along a street near the occupied West Ban village of Alzawiya of Qalqilia, as Palestinian teenagers began throwing stones and Molotov cocktail bottles at the car.
Witnesses said that an Israeli military contingent was deployed in the area in pursue of the stone-throwers. No further details were reported.
In previous cases, a number of Israelis entered Palestinian areas and then returned to the Israeli side, according to reports by Palestinian security services.
