Miles of Smiles Convoy Leaves Gaza

Miles of Smiles Convoy left the Gaza Strip on Friday evening after spending 48 hours in the coastal region and delivering humanitarian supplies.

Convoy members handed medical equipment and supplies to the Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, toured several areas devastated by the war, and also met several officials of the Hamas-led government in Gaza.

They were allowed into the Gaza Strip late on Wednesday evening after being stuck in Egypt for more than 25 days as the Egyptian Authorities initially prevented them from crossing.

60 Activists representing 10 European countries managed to enter the Gaza Strip to deliver the supplies.
