Israeli naval forces attack Palestinian fishermen near the northern Gaza shores

Israeli navy boats opened fire on Monday midday at Palestinian fishing boats off the town of Beit Lahyia town northern Gaza Strip.

The fishermen reported that the Israeli boats opened fire at them while they were fishing in the Palestinian territorial waters and gave them no warning.

Damage was reported to the fishing boats but no injuries.

The Israeli military attacks Gaza fishermen frequently. This year alone three fishermen were killed by those attacks.
