24 Patients Leave Gaza For Treatment In UAE

Dr. Moawiya Hassanen, head of the Emergency Department at the Palestinian Ministry of Health, reported Sunday that 24 patients left the Gaza Strip for medical treatment in the United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Hassanen added that the 24 residents were wounded during the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and that that their injuries led to disabilities.

They will be moved to hospitals in the EUA for treatment and rehabilitation.

Nearly 1600 Palestinians were killed during the three-week war earlier this year and more than 6000 were wounded.
